Payment:
A purchase order, check, or VISA/MasterCard/AMEX number must
accompany your order. Checks must be written in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank, and
made payable to the Association for Asian Studies.
Postage and Handling:
A postage and handling fee is charged for all orders
(with the exception of
subscriptions to Education About Asia and the Asian Studies Newsletter).
In May 2007, the Post Office announced new rates for international postage, and
we have had to increase our postage rates for all orders mailed outside of the
U.S. to cover these new cost increases.
- For U.S. orders: add $5.00 for the first copy, $2.00 for each
additional copy.
- For Canadian orders:
add $10.00 for the first copy, $3.00 for
each additional copy.
- For the rest of the world: add $15.00 for the first copy, $5.00
for each additional copy.
For bookstores and agents ordering in quantities of more than
5 copies, the postage and handling fee will be individually calculated on the basis of
weight.
Shipping Information:
Orders are normally shipped
Library Rate within the USA and First
Class Mail International
to the rest of the world. We will be pleased to ship your order via
UPS or another express delivery service if you agree to pay the additional charges. Please
make special shipping arrangements at the time you place your order.
