Each spring, the AAS holds a four-day conference which is devoted to planned programs of
scholarly papers, roundtable discussions and panel sessions on a wide range of issues in
research and teaching, and on Asian affairs in general.
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2008 AAS meeting.
The total attendance was 2,517.
The Call for Papers for the 2009 AAS meeting in Chicago will appear here in mid- to late-May.
The deadline for submissions for Chicago 2009 will be AUGUST 15,2008.
